Billing & Usage¶
ScrapeNest's billing model is designed for scalability and transparency. We use a credit-based, usage metering approach that correlates directly with your scraping volume and the engine each job uses.
Pay for results¶
Every job emits a metering event when it finishes. Credits are charged only for jobs that succeed — a job that fails on our side (infrastructure, egress, a timeout on our side) is never billed. Events are processed in near real-time and aggregated into your monthly invoice.
Credits — the billing unit¶
ScrapeNest bills on a single unit, the credit. Each successful job consumes credits according to the worker tier (engine) it ran on:

These weights are the single source of truth for pricing across the platform.
Plans & included credits¶
Each plan includes a monthly credit pool. Usage beyond the pool is charged at the plan's overage rate; you are never silently cut off mid-month on a paid plan (a soft-overage grace applies before any hard limit).

Prices exclude VAT. French VAT (TVA) is applied where due; EU reverse-charge is supported with a valid VAT number.
Additional Billable Items¶
- Extra Artifact Storage: included storage applies per plan (Pro: 10 GB, Business: 50 GB); beyond that, storage is metered per GB-month.
- Dedicated Proxy Pools: available on Business and Enterprise for custom egress requirements.
Organization Billing Details¶
For B2B customers, ScrapeNest provides comprehensive billing management in Organization Settings > Billing.
- VAT Validation: For EU-based organizations, enter your VAT number to ensure correct tax calculation. We validate VAT numbers in real-time.
- Invoicing Details: Set your billing email, company address, and legal name.
- Plan Limits: Each plan has a monthly credit pool. You can set soft limits (receive notifications) and hard limits (block further requests) to control your budget.
Quota Enforcement¶
We enforce these limits to maintain platform stability and protect your budget:
- Rate Limits (RPM): The number of requests per minute you can submit per API key.
- Concurrency Limits: The number of jobs that can run simultaneously across your organization.
- Monthly Credit Pool: Credits reserved at job admission (by engine weight) count against your plan's pool; overage is billed per the rate above.
